8th annual Yoga & Fitness in the Mountains with Anita
June 8-10, 2018 @ Elevation Place in Canmore
It's that time again! Registration is open for the 8th annual Yoga & Fitness in the Mountains retreat with me! You'll want to register early, because there are only 30 spots, which will fill quickly. This year we're at Elevation Place recreation centre in Canmore. Cost is only $89 + gst, which includes Friday and Saturday instruction, and a guided hike on Sunday. You are responsible for your own travel, meals, and accommodations. Since the retreat is not associated with any hotel, you can stay anywhere nearby.

Friday, June 8
- 7:00 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. Friday Night Hatha & Yin Driving to the mountains is tough on your body! Begin your weekend with a strong and rejuvenating hatha-style class with a touch of yin, giving extra attention to your shoulders, spine, and hips. (Yoga, Everyone)
- 8:20 p.m. Pre-Retreat Meeting & Welcome Let's get (re)-connected and discuss the weekend details. Come pick up your goody bags, and we'll draw for some prizes.
Saturday, June 9
- 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Intensive A (Yoga & Fitness blend, Group A, about 15 people)
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Intensive B (Yoga & Fitness blend, Group B, about 15 people)
This 135-minute session will engage every inch of your physical and emotional self. The yoga element will be a hatha / vinyasa blend to elongate, invigorate, and release... complemented with a functional, flowing strength component for your upper body, lower body, and deep into your core.
- 2:15 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. Yes, Cardio is FUN! (Fitness, Everyone welcome)
- 3:15 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. Yes, Cardio is Still FUN! (Fitness, Everyone welcome)
You are welcome to come to one or both of these cardiovascular endurance classes (they will be different). Since your morning was focused on muscle strength and flexibility, let's now have a heart-pumping good time that will leave you sweaty, happy, and hungry for a good dinner out.
Sunday, June 10
- 10:30 a.m. Grassi Lakes Hike
Sleep in, check out of your hotel, and then let's have an inspiring, moderately strenuous hike before you head down the highway toward home. We'll meet at the trail head at 10:30 sharp, and we'll be finished around noon. Aaahhh, that's a wrap for another year!

Once I have received your payment, your spot in the retreat is secure. If you are planning to attend the retreat in a group, each person needs a separate registration. Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be provided up to 2 weeks prior to the retreat (May 25, 2018). No refunds after this date.
